refrigerator sugar cookies for FHE treat on MONDAY- vintage-like don't you think?
Bella's Preschool egg hunt on THURSDAY
Easter nails and Egg Dying on GOOD FRIDAY...(poor little Sav is a chronic nail-biter, so it's hard to see hers, but I didn't dare let her know that! Bell's nails are much easier to see and paint) The green chevron nails are my fave!
Our Easter Bunny comes on SATURDAY (we do "Secular Saturday", so we don't have to do Easter festivities on Sunday, except go to church, take the sacrament and remember WHY we celebrate Easter)
So, we did our baskets and easter bunny egg hunt on Saturday morning...We gave the girlies sunday dresses, ties for the boys, and simple trinkets and candy in the baskets!
(Josh went straight for the chocolate, hence the tooth-less smile)
after baskets they headed outside to see what the Easter bunny had hidden...
I love this next series of shots...Josh reached for the eggs hidden high above (meant for him) and gave them to his sisties....
the next morning we had Easter breakfast (with all the time we had since we didn't have to do baskets and were not stuffed with candy;)
we had some hatched chicks (pancakes and eggs) and fruit...
For dinner we were invited to our good friend's home and were asked to bring some sides. We made bunny bread with veggies and dip, bright deviled-eggs and chocolate "nests" with cadbury eggs and peeps
(once again excuse the poor phone quality pics...) We did the "12 days of Easter" at our friend's with their kiddos this year (no pics darn it!)
A sad attempt at taking Easter photos after church...what was I thinking. The look on Sav's face says it all;)
And why are they SO blurry?? I was in such a hurry to snap a few before the clothes came flying off that I didn't bother to check my settings...(note to self- take pictures BEFORE church next year and not AFTER)
Too bad they were so blurry, would have loved a clearer shot of bella's monster face above and Lily's smiley face below
after begging for just ONE kid shot, this is what they gave me!! Oh well!! I'll take it!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!!

Awwww . . . so cute! What a great weekend. I am so impressed with your culinary creations . . . that bread bear was awesome! Everybody looked so nice for Easter. We didn't get "before church" pictures either . . . your "after" pictures were much better than ours! Sure love you guys!
I love the girls' aprons and all the beautiful Easter clothes! You might recognize Olivia's Easter dress if I ever post about Easter :) We almost didnt get any Easter pictures because there was no way we were getting pictures taken before church since we barely made it on time to our 9am sacrament. I actually had to make Brady go change back into his church clothes when I remembered we needed a picture. He wasn't thrilled about it :)
