A day at Six Flags Fiesta!

A week and a half ago, Savannah had Roseola and we made a trip to the ER because she had a febrile seizure due to a spike in temperature. She went from 101- 104+ in a matter of minutes! She's totally fine now- thank goodness, but her fever and rash went on for a full week, and she was contagious so we had to stay indoors. Needless to say we had cabin fever by the end!! So we convinced Mike to go to Six Flags (he had to give a talk in church the next morning- so he was a little hesistant)and we had the best day! Josh had a free ticket from the school reading program and we got some sweet deals on coupons. Mike's a sucker for a good deal so we won. We were nervous at first since it was SUPER crowded! But then we realized, not many people with little kids go there, and there's tons of little kids stuff to do- so the crowd was mostly teenagers and up. We didn't ever have to wait in long lines to ride stuff, and the water park rocked!!! Plus all the characters just stood around waiting for a kid to come up and take pictures(quite different from Disneyland!) ~ so that was fun for our kids. Unfortunately my camera died half way through so I didn't get pictures of Bugs bunny, Scooby Doo or Daphne. Oh well. We were pleasantly surprised and had much more fun than expected. The shows were amazing too. 6 thumbs up for Six Flags

That is so scary about Savannah, I'm glad she's better. So we're going down this weekend to SA and are going to Sea World...if Fiesta Texas has a water park should we go there instead since we've never been and went to Sea World last year??? I need advice!

Fun! What a great summer you all have had (except for the scare with Savannah)! More flags - more fun!
