Austin Asays: Eight is GREAT!!

8 things we love about our Savy girl:

1. She is a HARD worker! this girl knows how to get things done! (chores, school work, what ever it is she gives it her best effort and wows me with how much she accomplishes!)

2. She pretty much ROCKS at everything she sets her mind to because she is one determined girl!

3. She is the most passionate of all of our children and is such an expressive girl and loves writing stories and writing about her "feelings" (so OPPOSITE of our boys;)

4. She's an artsy girly and is amazing at drawing and sketching

5. She also LOVES music and dancing and has enjoyed her piano lessons (loves practicing for fun for hours on end!) and performing in her singer's company

6. She is naturally a really neat and super orderly girl that has an appreciation for cleanliness and organization.

7. She is intuitive and has the natural ability to help me with out my asking- LOOOVE that about her

8. Though she is generally pretty introverted in public, she is super silly at home and makes up hilarious little diddy's and dances that crack us up (one of lily's fave's is Sav's "spaghetti" song and dance)

9. (one extra for good measure...) Sav has a really good and sweet little heart and feels the spirit easily! She loves bearing her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and I am grateful for her example to her siblings and to ME!

Since her Bday is 2 days after Christmas (uggh!) we usually go on a mommy/daughter date for lunch and to buy an outfit of her choice rather than opening any more presents! This year I took her to get her first ever mani and to pick out a dress for her upcoming baptism!!

Today was her actual baptism day!!! She was SO excited!!!

I made these baptism dress cupcakes for her big day....thank you pinterest!!!

Grammy gifted Sav with a special CTR necklace, bracelet, ring, some baptism books and other little goodies! Thank you Grammy and Grampy!! ( I especially LOVE the pic of grammy above getting teary as she gave Sav her gifts!)
