After living in Texas for 10 years we FINALLY got some pictures with blue bonnets this year. And not because I thought of it or planned to, but a dental patient of Mike's commented that we needed some good old fashioned blue bonnet family photos to go with his "texas-rustic" themed office. So it gave us just the nudge we needed to get out in those tickly-prickly fields. Since they only make their appearance for a brief period each year, we asked our good friend Kristen Duke to take these for us just in the nick of time. They were not as abundant as I would have liked, but her talent for photography more than makes up for it! I loved how they turned out!
