we're back!!!

We got a new computer and are back online- yippee!!! not that anyone missed us or noticed;)
BUT, boy did WE notice...what did we ever do with out computers?? there are definitely good
things about  not having the computer for a while, but mostly it was a huge inconvenience with homework assignments and even paying bills and other "to dos"...Any how, here is my little Bella's long awaited for  birthday post (mostly by her....she kept asking when we were going to get a new computer so that I can blog her birthday pics- HA!;) SO here is her big day for those that are interested and if not just for Bells:

here are few random Bella shots that were just too cute not to post:
here she is on her first day of preschool...

and here she is with uncle Brady at the BYU/UT game...she LOVES him!
the morning of her birthday she woke up extra early, she was so excited because her actual party was that day... she had donuts and fruit with the big kids before sending them off to school
 the party favor bags
here's the poster we used for "pin the tail on Simba" compliments of Sav and Bella
 tiara's for our jungle friends

festive attire, hula skirts, flower flip flops, tiaras and leis
as part of her present I preordered the movie from the disney store since they just released it from the vault and got these lovely lithographs for free- perfect timing!
she loves them!
as a side note- ALL the leaves I used I found in my filing cabinet from a jungle birthday I did for Josh's 4th birthday 7 years ago...how crazy is that?! I can't believe they held up so well!

Here are the cupcakes I made...it doesn't get easier than this! I just mixed some shredded coconut with green food coloring and got these perfect figurines from the disney store and they doubled as a gift
(come on....you know you want to sing the song)
 edible decorative paper
here's the whole line up from the movie
 villains and all
 boy was she pleased!
Bella got to invite 5 friends (turning 5 = 5 friends) and look who she invited...
the old preschool gang from last years co-op. what a fun reunion it was!
eating a feast fit for a king;)

 She was a happy girl!
I just loved their cute little expressions
having a "wild" time at lunch

time for some girly nail polish
zebra and tiger print for the occasion

 showing them off
 a little face painting
birthday hugs for the birthday girl
 opening presents

a closer look at those nails
hugging her bestie Ellie...they have been tight since they were babies

we started singing with one cupcake...
but Bells (and I:) wanted the whole cake
 making a wish
 blowing out her candles

This picture pretty much sums up how she felt about the whole day
later that night we did family presents since we did the party while the big kids were at school. here she is showing off her lion king jammies, which I got a good deal on, since  lion king is not usually a girly favorite
Zach and Sav were bummed they missed the face painting...this made them feel better. In case you are wondering why...Zach is OBSESSED with drawing faces with curly mustaches and pointy eye brows...apparently something they did in art last year and he has been drawing them ever since. silly boy.
 Sav requested a flower
Bella got a pair of kissing lions (simba and nala with magnetic lips...seriously who thinks of this stuff?)

This is a very late gift from Grammy (like 4 yrs late...totally MY fault...grammy, does this look familiar? you gave this to me all tied just needing to be sewn around the edges 4 years ago when Bella was 1 and I NEVER did it...till the night before her 5th birthday) BUT how perfect is this gift for her NOW. she appreciates it way more now than she would have as a 1 yr old. She has slept with it every night since.
here she is with all her loot

She played for hours with her lion king figures, dolls and littlest petshops. what a great mix!

What a fun fun day!! We love you Belly Bean! thanks for being you!
