I can't believe my girl is in kindergarten! I miss her already!

3 out of 5 kiddos at school this year! For the 1st time ever, I will have more kids at school than at home...how did that happen so fast? I'm feeling kind of weepy today. I get like this every year, even if it's not kindergarten. Am I weird or do you get this way too?

I totally am feeling your "weepies". I have had my moments over the last few days. Where has the time gone? How are our kids growing up so fast? Nothing like "firsts" (kindergarten, junior high, etc.) to really make you step back and see past, present, and future all at once. It's a little overwhelming . . . and most certainly accompanied by some tears. (Tell the kiddos, "Happy First (and now Second) day of School!! -- They are all so cute! Love you!)

Why does everyone keep growing up?! And I'm missing it all. Thank goodness for blogs. How's Bella doing? Is she lonely without the big kids around to play?
It's such an exciting time when the kids start school. Sav looks so grown up! Noah starts on Tuesday and is so looking forward to it. And I love that you did Spanish lessons this summer. What a great idea!
My sweet grandkids look amazing! Their teachers really look like wonderful. special people and I know they will do great with our special kids! They are all soooo grown up! Josh, Zach, and now Savy,too! Where have the years flown to?

i'm with sare. i'm sad that we're missing it all. i wish i could be around my nieces and nephews more often. they're so so cute. and grown-up. it's hardest for the mommy, i think, letting go. i already miss griffy's baby days and he's not even in school yet, but it's just hard to see them grow up. : (
