I'm gonna miss this...

Today was my last turn to teach our "Funshine" preschool co-op for the year- bitter sweet :( Next year Savannah will go to her first "real" preschool while I take care of our newborn baby.
If I were really good, this wouldn't phase me since most good mommies do crafts and letters with their kids anyway... but me... I need to have a good reason to do it- like preschool. So sad, but so true...
Are they not the cutest little preschool group you've ever seen?!

Today we learned about being an artist

They worked on their Abstract art, after showing them some of Grampy's
(my Father in law's) pictures that he's given us for a little inspiration

They were each asked to name their painting

Here's what they came up with
Asher - "Factory"
Carly- "Stripes!"
Decker- "Painty paint"
Emily- "Princess"
Savannah- "Jungle"
Bella- "hi mommy"

Such a big girl!(check out her shoes:)

( I think Bella liked mixing the colors and watching the water change colors as she rinsed the brush more than painting itself)
Fun times

i love that names they chose, too. so cute.

and you don't need crafts to be a good mom. you're such a fun mom already. your kids love you. brad's gone so much that i NEED craft time. i'm too impatient and the kids are completely bored when there's nothing planned. it keeps me sane and my kids happy. so i keep the crafts coming.

I have some neighbors who do a preschool like that too. It's cute and they love it. I love Savannah's face in the one where she's painting-hehe. And the crown on her head reminds me of Chloe--no outfit is complete without a crown :)

The kids loved coming to your house for preschool! I know what you mean about the craft thing. That has been one of the great perks of preschool! It seems like that's the onlyl time we do anything cool at my house.

Who wouldn't miss that cute little gang?! I think you're smart giving yourself a little breathing time for after girlie #3 is born. Its cool too that Bella got to experience a little bit of the pre school stuff when it was at your house.

I am totally a bad mom because the majority of the time I let Noggin and Nick Jr. teach my kids! You're a great mom Caroline! The pre-schoolers are so super cute and their paintings were so good!

What a talented little group! And so cute too! I know you've really enjoyed being involved with pre-school this way . . . but I think you're smart to think and plan ahead for the baby. The baby will be "all-consuming" for awhile . . . right when school starts again!
