We enjoyed a visit to Grammy and Grampy's in Dallas after Christmas and were able to go to holiday in the park at six flags, relax, eat too much food, sleep in, and Mike and I got to watch way too many movies (oh so fun for us) and most of all just be with people that we love. Though I got (annoyingly) sick over the break I was grateful we were still able to relax and have fun (thanks for taking good care of us!!) We always really enjoy going to visit Grammy, Grampy, Brett, and this year we missed Uncle/Elder Jeff, and the Grants! :( Love you guys!

getting ready to count down!! this was the before picture unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) the camera died, so you don't get to see the mass destruction that swept through our house- confetti, confetti and more confetti!! It was well worth it though!!
Austin Park n Pizza To finish off the break we ended with going to Austin's Park and Pizza. Mike won an auction a while back so we got in for a measely $10 each (reg price is more than 2X that!!) and the the girls were free. What we got for $40= Fun filled, exhausting day. We got there at noon and got home at 8:30pm. So we ate lunch, played video games, rock climbed, bumper boated, go carted, mini golfed, rode some rides, did the batting cages, laser tag, ate dinner and played some more video games to finish off the day (hey after all it's all included- so of course we had to get the most bang for our buck!)Phew, it makes me tired just thinking about it. Good day and fun way to end the break.

So much fun! We're glad we got to see you guys for a little bit too. Everytime Jack sees a little boy he calls him Josh. We really miss everyone.
ps The girlies' hairclips sure are cute!
Oh yeah, and happy (late) birthday to Savy!
Cuuuute post!! I love Savannah's smile. Chloe used to kinda do that...I decided she thought she WAS smiling-haha. I remember Holiday in the Park, and the "snow" hill!! Fun! We can't go to the amusement park here--too snowy :(
Looks like a fun buncha holidays :) Cute pictures :)
Such fun pictures! We were supposed to go to Six Flags but didn't get to so I still have the tickets in my diaper bag! I think they are closed now, oh well...I was sad that you weren't feeling well and I couldn't see you at church! Chandler always sticks his head in the pictures just like Zach. So funny but sometimes irritating if you're trying to capture a moment! You guys are great, I always enjoy seeing your fun family in action.
Wow, you all did SO SO SO much! It makes me feel like a looser lazy mom! I was blaming it on that I got super nasty sick too, but then I read in your blog that you did as well and still you all did all of that! Man, you're making me look bad here! :)
Erin,
Uh - you -loser lazy mom??- NOT POSSIBLE!!!you're like the best mom I know lady! :) and I was just annoyingly sick, not nasty sick if that makes you feel better :)
If it's worth anything I didn't get sick till AFTER six flags and before our last trip to austin's park. and while I was sick we stayed at my in laws who TOTALLY took care of me (and the kiddos) which made a HUGE difference!! Plus I had a husband who was off for a week and gets bored if there's nothing for him to do :)
Holy cow, Caroline, I can't believe how much you guys did! I love your blog, you always have such fun and creative ideas! I agree with Erin, it makes me feel very inadequate. Just hope my kids don't check out your blog :)...
Look at all the fun you had! Okay, and I can relate to the sled ride being the favorite. The first year we were in Dallas, we took Em to a skiing show downtown--they had a tubing hill and an area where you could build a snowman. Those were the two reasons we went. Brad and I, who grew up with more snow than our parents probably wanted, paid to take our daughter to play in the snow! Also, Happy Birthday to Savannah, Noah's b-day buddy! :)
FUN day!! It really looked like a park loaded with fun! You guys really spent your days off wisely! You accomplished a lot - you must all have been exhausted and ready for school to start.
~mom/grammy
Sorry - more from me. We loved having you here - it was so fun! We loved movies, SIX FLAGS for sure, playing with toys, and playing with the kids!
