In just a couple of weeks (12/18) Mike and I will have been married for 10 awesome years!!!
4 kids, 4 moves, 8 years of school , finally a career, and a bunch of other stuff later we are still madly in love!
I'm so grateful that I get to be married to my best friend and better yet that we still love to be around each other all the time :) I'm also grateful for all that we have been able to accomplish and learn together over the last 10 years- so here's to the next 10 + years!
To celebrate we went on a quick trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for 4 days and 3 nights. It was SO relaxing and fun to get to be alone for such a long time!!! (I promise we do love our kids:) It was so nice to be able to have extended conversations over fancy dinners that I didn't make, hold hands on long walks, read, take naps(!!!), go on little excursions (like zip lining) and just do what ever we felt like doing for a few days- ahhh......fun fun!! This was our first vacation that we've ever taken alone together and I wouldn't have imagined that it would be so great! We can't wait to see what the next 10 years holds for us and then to get to celebrate it again together! Thank you to Grammy and Grampy (Mike's parents) and Abuelo and Abuela (my mom and dad, and the Grants for taking care of our babies and making this possible- we love you!!!

Happy Anniversary (soon)! That looked like so much fun. I'm dying for a vacation. One without kids would be awesome. You guys look so cute and happy and relaxed! I'm sure your kids were glad to have you home again.

Those were beautiful pics! What I wouldn't give for a little sun (i'm pasty white right now)! I'm glad you guys got to go on a fun getaway, and spend some time together. You guys are a good example to us of a happy marriage and family :) Happy 10 year anniversary(soon)!
wow i can't believe it has already been 10 years! congrats! how fabulous! what an amazing vacation! looks like you guys really enjoyed it! it is nice to get away for a little while! can't believe this was your first trip sans the kiddos. CONGRATS again on 10 years!

Oh my goodness . . . you crammed so much into three days!! What a fun trip! (LOVE the pictures!) I bet it was just the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. I'm so glad you guys got to do that. We sure enjoyed your sweet kiddos while you were gone!

I can't belive how many of us are joining CLUB 10 in the ward this year. We will be joining you on January 2nd. Okay, maybe technically a year later, but only by 2 days! :) I may have to talk to you about some Second Honeymoon location advice. I can NOT WAIT to take mine!!! I love my kids too, really, but I totally get what you are saying! CONGRATULATIONS!!! The blog looks amazing! You are awesome!!

Happy 10th Anniversary! Everyone we know is going or has gone to Mexico recently. Brad and I are trying to plan our 10-year anniversary trip in April and are thinking Mexico, too. It sounds like you had a wonderful time!
