Blue Room
Here's the blue room. We actually changed our minds and painted it Rain instead of Languid blue (for those of you who care:)
We had fun painting and love the new splash of color that it adds to our home. Now for some furniture... maybe one day.
The burning toy... we were painting after the kids were down and thought what a good thing they were asleep because the paint (or so we thought) smelled really stinky and toxic! Then we noticed something smoking in our chandelier... low and behold the smell was coming from a burning plastic toy that the kids threw up in there and it was totally melted and about to cause a fire!

Beautiful color!! I love the "dancing in the rain" and i love the pictures of the kids on the stair wall!!
You must have been up late last night to post all of this after getting home late from Mckinney and putting the kids to bed!

now way mom! I went straight to bed- we didn't get home till 10pm! I just posted it after the kids went to school and the girls were still sleeping :) We had fun!
HA! Thanks - I just figured that out because I noticed on someone's blog it said 17 minutes ago! That's better - a busy mom like you needs her sleep!
We had fun, too! It was so fun to see everyone! Claire was so beautiful!

PRETTY room! i love that color! that's more of the blue i was going for in our office. ours turned out a little darker than i would have liked, but i still like it.
The color looks great! So peaceful. Maybe we'll get to see it when we're down there in a couple weeks?
I agree with Sarah, the color is very peaceful. I'm always leary to use blues because I don't know if they'll be too dark or too pale, but this one is perfect. The black and white picture is a great accent as well. :)
